Stella is a 10-month-old sweetie who is a bit of a "limited edition" model—she’s got the gorgeous face of a retriever, but in a unique, long-and-low package! At a perfect 35 lbs, she’s the ideal size for adventures or cozying up on the couch.

Heartworm Negative! She’s healthy and ready for her forever life.
Socially curious: She’s been good with other dogs but can be a bit unsure—she just needs a patient friend to show her the ropes.
New to the world: Cats and other furry friends are a bit of a mystery to her right now, so she’d love a home that can help her build her confidence.
Total sweetheart: Around 10 months old and full of puppy love, she’s looking for someone to be her guide through life.Stella is like a "slow bloom"—once she knows she’s safe and loved, her true personality really shines. Animal Control
The Cordele Animal Shelter has many opportunities for those who wish to volunteer including:
- Adoption – Greeter, counselor
- Socialization/Training – Working with dogs and cats
- Spay/Neuter – Must be a licensed Veterinarian
- Education – Developing programs, youth
- Financials – Deposits, Excel spreadsheet
- Housekeeping – Cleaning the animals, shelter, and etc.
- Fundraising – Special events, raising $
- Office – Phone calls, emails, screen applicants
- Marketing – Newsletter, publications
- Transportation – Transporting animals to various rescues
- Foster Parent – Foster a shelter animal
- Other – Dog Banks, Shelter Display, Cartridge recycling
